TRIMS

The Convertible brings three trims: The Cooper C or The OG, which is the base trim, the Cooper S or The Pro, and JCW The Legend.

Performance

All three vehicles come with the 2.0-liter MINI TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder 16-valve engine. The base trim, Cooper C, rolls 161 HP, and when you go a little higher, the Cooper S gives 201 HP, and the Legend delivers 228 HP. All the vehicles combine a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection. The Cooper C and Cooper S come with a 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission, while the Legend has a 7-Speed Sport Dual Clutch Transmission. The BHP @ RPM varies as follows:

Cooper C - 161 @ 5000 – 6500
Cooper S - 201 @ 5750 – 6500
Legend - 228 @ 5000 - 6000

Acceleration 0-60 MPH (sec) is 7.9, 6.7, and 6.2, respectively. The 4-Wheel Disc Brakes with Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) and Cornering Brake Control (CBC) are standard across all vehicles. They also come equipped with Front and rear anti-roll (stabilizer) bars, which reduce body rolls during turns, and the car remains flatter.

Exterior

The Cooper C and Cooper S both stand on 17" U-Spoke Grey with all-season tires, while the Legend is fitted with 17" John Cooper Works Sprint Spoke Black with All-Season Tires. All vehicles have piano black exterior accents, a standard black soft top, and are finished with non-metallic paint.

Interior

You will find standard floor mats and a convertible wind deflector that redirects gusts of wind over the cabin and reduces turbulence and noise. The upholstery is made of a Vescin/Cloth combination, and a 2D-Knit Fabric Dashboard makes the interior stylish and gives the cabin a unique and warm feel. Additionally, there’s a 3-spoke Vescin-wrapped, Sport Heated Steering Wheel on the Cooper C and S, while the JCW Legend comes with a signature 3-spoke John Cooper Works Steering Wheel, also heated. All trims are equipped with MINI experience modes and the MINI Operating System 9, optimized for touch and voice control. The MINI Interaction Unit on all the vehicles has the brand’s unique 9.4" round OLED display. You can also make the most of the Dynamic Cruise Control to set speed and safe distance, and a Head-up display that projects information on the windshield in the line of sight.

Connectivity

The MINI Cooper brings a range of connectivity and audio systems, such as the SiriusXM® with 360L, on all trims. It also has 1 1-year Platinum Plan subscription. The Cooper S and C are equipped with MINI Hi-Fi Sounds System, while the Legend features the Harman Kardon surround sound system. All systems are Remote Software Upgrade Capable, and the vehicle also has MINI ConnectedDrive® Services standard across all trims. A Wi-Fi Hotspot is available in the cabin along with wireless device charging, which makes connection even on the go, absolutely seamless.
